I wouldnt he surprised look at a possible next season in L1. Loads of players out of contract and do you have good hopes for any decent replacements? Nope! Be downgraded once again to save money.
Its nuts as it really pisses me off but only when I'm thinking about it now. Tbh I havent missed football at all during COVID. I'll always love my club but these ****ers are taking away my love for the sport. Cant wait till they **** off it will be a brilliant day and I bet the SOL will be rocking the first game under new owners no matter who we are playing.
I'm the same I've never been since the Southend home game, don't think I'll ever be back over. I still love the club and want them to do well but I think I'm done now with attending games.
Exactly and they will be hoping on gate revenues to fund that plus ifollow etc.. We need to vote with feet if still here next season and just not turn up. Plenty ways to pirate the match **** putting money in their hands.
Meanwhile Emperor Donald fiddles while Rome burns. If he stays we are going one way, and that's not up.
The ****s as well ‘we will show games free to season card holders’ So, snide way of saying no refunds, and Sky be showing games to all anyway on red button. They are ****ing cowboys.
That is exactly what it is... Your a mod with your approval if these ****ers still in charge I can reccomend a place to get our matches where those ****s dont get our money.
I just hope FPP have them over the barrel and take over via default. As these lads arent cowboys they will get the right people in to run us properly.
Im actually not mate that was years ago but there’s no way of removing it. Links to games don’t get removed from here anyway though.
Just seen that new Rodwell fell on Sky. Fat lump with a shirt 20 sizes too small. Looks a Donald clone.
I agree with what you're saying but this is for the good of football in England and competition integrity. Maybe this could be a pre-curser to amalgamating again but for the greater good
Ive always thought its crazy having 2 bodies in one league. Effectively though we are asking BA to bail out Virgin Atlantic, it wouldn’t happen, and it won’t happen.
I know it's mostly wishful thinking on my behalf but I would like to see it to some degree if at all possible and there is a willingness from both boards. As much as the PL may think it doesn't need the EFL, how many players and managers started there careers in the lower leagues and if a lot of teams go bust, how many of those future PL players will end up in a warehouse or stacking shelves because they didn't have Bury to take a chance on them. No more SKP's, Dele Alli's, John Stones etc.
Manchester United just announced losses. They are the financial untouchables. Only £3million but it’s a marker, and shows what’s coming.
If they introduce a salary cap, they should put the clubs with the biggest turnovers in to the Championship, and then start it. It's not as if they havent done this before. Sunderland and Donny lasses were both demoted two leagues to allow teams like Man Utd and West Ham to progress when they restructured the WSL.
