Not a chance we'll be in for Koulibaly; he'll be 29 in June and cost a fortune. I think we will be after a CB though because Lovren and maybe Matip will go.

I just watched the highlights from the Leverkusen game and Havertz was very impressive. First time I've seen him play. Someone in the comments section said he needs to go to a club the magnitude of Liverpool to be developed. I couldn't agree more :)

Out of the games I've seen and admittedly it's only one round, havertz really stood out. Looked very good and would slot into.our team well

I'd never heard of him or seen him play. I've now seen 10 minutes of him in a game and admittedly, the highlights by definition are the best bits, I thought he looked good. I always say now that I trust Klopp to get just what we need. He seems to know what he's doing :)
 
I suggested last summer we should look at Havertz, his potential fee has increased hugely since then. He will cost more than Timo.
 
SG have dropped out of the race for Liverpool target Kalidou Koulibaly, according to Le Parisien.

Liverpool have reportedly drawn up an offer for the Napoli defender already, with Jurgen Klopp’s side eager to bring him in, according to Le 10 Sport.

And it could be that Liverpool’s chances of landing Koulibaly have just increased.

The powerful defender was wanted by PSG, but the French champions have decided that he is too expensive for them.

So Ojo thinks Rangers fans are the best in the world - fair play, but it's not going to help his cause if he's looking to get back into our team. He is only on loan isn't he?

True, but if I remember rightly, he categorically and emphatically stated that Liverpool would stick with Karius after Kiev, and would not be buying a goalkeeper, especially not at a world record price. But I would be astonished if we felt the need to spend £90m on a CB when we've got Virgil. A good replacement for Lovren will do, as we have Gomez, Matip and a couple of good kids coming through. Be nice if we did though - he's the real deal.
