It's not a non story Dyson were awarded a contract above other companies who were clearly more suitable, clearly more able to produce higher quantities. Just so happens Dyson are tory donors the others weren't. It will never get investigated though, I do agree with you Blair should be inside for his part in the Iraq war.

No need mate. I would prefer an answer to my original question asked about 100 pages ago. I would also appreciate an example of some rubbish I have posted without having any evidence.

And that last sentence sums up the difference between tory supporters and other party supporters.

It will be selective parts of the scientific research that's for sure, you've got to be out for lunch if you believe that the government acted on the whole information, the bigger picture, they will choose select comments, statements and certain facts whilst ignoring others

The proof is there to see. No evidence in quaranteening/screening inbound airline passengers despite other countries science saying there is. Now there is evidence as we are planning on doing it sometime in june. That is just one example of the complete incompetence of either our scientific advice, the government or both.

I know right, Blair got sucked into licking American balls and the benefits that might bring the UK, history won't reflect well on him.

It wont and it wont on johnson either. I'm always trying to teach my 14 year old son that lying is the cowardly way out of making mistakes. Honesty is the best policy. It's difficult in a society where it's perfectly acceptable and widely accepted to lie and be lied to.

No, you didn't answer the question! You said go back to school only when teachers are safe? I said that is not possible however Sweden and others are okay and you go on about how crap we are at social distancing! Stick to the point!

****ing hell, mate. Have a look in the mirror.

As I said, I don’t know as much about other countries as I do this one but I suspect they’re better set up in terms of class size and also have a more coherent plan in place to minimise the risk. If we have one I’m yet to see it and you just know it’ll go wrong somewhere along the line because we do things for headlines rather than efficacy.

But doesn't that come down to choice and best advice? We know that Trumpton is taking that Malaria stuff because someone told him it was a good idea... yet others have dismissed it as stupid. Science and advice change daily. My point from day one as that MP's know cr2p about diseases and need to rely on experts to advise them... agree they will ultimately make the political decision which is best for the country. But we know they have been following this advice from the start. Bloody hell the last thing they want is deaths and the economy to crash.

Tragic this will get so little coverage while Covid dominates all headlines.

Debateable. All the teachers i know (and the 3 who post here on this forum) aren't exactly super happy about it (2 of them are already helping out at schools but for schools to open as usual they are not in favour until proper measures have taking place.

Do we know that really though? They say it but the results don’t bear it out.

Crashing the economy hasn’t been a concern for several years.

No we do things because we believe they are for the best. I have explained myself perfectly well regarding schools but haven't really answered the question. You keep going into this weird rhetoric about people in our society.
I teacher can quite easily catch Covid out of a school as well as in it?

Mogg might disagree with you. I think it's clear to see the UK acted slowly especially with being behind others on the curve, certainly not clear enough for our public either. There is a reason the UK is up near the top for death rate and that really needs to be looked into

We didn’t fudge the test numbers on the final day of April for the best. We did it for the headline.
That’s not a great argument for throwing them into schools before it’s safe to do so. A nurse can catch Covid at Asda but they still deserve to work in as risk-free an environment as possible.

It's no coincidence this is being done now, you'd have to be insane not to see this as being used to distract an ever growing disconcerted public, and Boris's approval rating taking a tumble

Clearly but it upsets me a bit even after all the country has gone through over the last few months that something like this would give him a ratings boost.
