Morning all. Another lovely dry and warm day in store, and looking forward to some more intensive gardening. There are some bright foxgloves in full flower that are as tall as me. I transplanted some away from my veggie plots, but now I am working around those that remain. The insects love them, and while on site they get into the peas and beans doing their job of pollinating them. Lots of hoverflies around this year which is good as they feed on the aphids. Always plenty to watch as you go peacefully about your tasks. Have a splendid day whatever you are planning. <ok>

Morning all. Very quiet indeed here this morning with all peaceful over at the farm, cattle have been moved to fields further away, the workmen that have been in a couple of the houses are not here today, so not even the sound of hammer on nail. The sun is blazing down again and it should be great to finish off preparing the patch for a second sowing of peas and beans. Youngest grandson is 15 today. Just where have the years gone? Have a good day whatever you are doing. <ok>

Morning all. Sun up and in full on heat mode now. Temperature expected to hover around the 30°C mark today. A few different options as to what to do next now that my veggies plot is up to scratch. I must keep an eye on it as there were signs yesterday that some of the soil around the peas and beans was starting to dry out, not wanted as peas in the pods are starting to form. After such a wet start to the year at least all of my water butts are full. I will think about it with a cup of coffee. Have a good day whatever you decide to do. <ok>
