Sooper - surprising how many people don't understand risk assessments.....and how the lacking of these in my role cause grey hair and increased blood pressure!!!

Well, scientists are always changing when new information comes in (as confirmed by Prof Clake). scientists also disagree with each other (just look at what has happened in recent weeks!) Of course the government will have the final say and that is the same all over the World. Keep complaining about something without the full facts is a waste of time.

True we still need to know what happened, to the missing 10 000 in care homes

In my old job I was responsible for producing the bloody things. You had to cover every base, trouble is the people you produce them for don't read them and they usually end up at the bottom of a draw or a file that doesn't get opened until something goes wrong. I guarantee if you asked a manager to recite the principal bullet points they'd be stuttering and stammering and miss the salient parts completely...

"Right from the start we've tried to throw a protective ring around our care homes. We set out our first advice in February... we've made sure care homes have the resources they need" says Health Secretary, Matt Hancock.

published on 25 February twice states that it is “very unlikely” people receiving care in care homes or the community will be infected with the new coronavirus. This advice was withdrawn on 13 March, and replaced with new guidance about what to do in the event of an outbreak at a care home or other supported living.

So you are blaming the government who have taken scientific advice (as confirmed)?
 
I knew the Tories stoop low but you would have honestly thought they would have learned something over doctored videos of Starmer. Was an attempt at cheap political point scoring which to be fair is the only bit I've seen during this pandemic.
