Yep that's along the lines of what I've been thinking, either FPP taking over, or other people buying Donald and co out but keeping the loan with FPP in place and keeping them at the table, because let's be honest FPP aren't investing in Donald and never were , they want to invest in SAFC but only at the right price and probably in the right league. But you're right, there's no need for the British FPP company to exist if they buy Madrox, which ties in with it being wound up

It just seems to me that it would be just as easy to buy Madrox. Donald and co don't need it for anything because it's purely for SAFC, and it's the company that FPP loaned to. If FPP wanted us, for arguments sake, they could just buy Madrox but they wouldn't want a £20m figure that they owed SAFC. If that was cancelled it would be more attractive, but they wouldn't want to be the ones to cancel it because it would look bad.

So they give Donald £10m, £15m or whatever for Madrox, theres no £20m owing to SAFC, Donald doesn't have to pay back the loan. Donald probably walks away without a major loss, we get what we wanted. Otherwise he might as well have kept the £20m there but just not paid it back, rather than writing it off just in time for the accounts so we could all shout at him.

If there is something in these rumours
What do people think about the Jim Rodwell appointment.
Have the goal posts moved since he was appointed
or was he brought in as a stop gap to keep the club running while potential takeover goes through.

I havnt been given that either tbh

bob reckons by the end of the month hopefully but we will see.
Everything is getting kicked further down the road in the current climate in all sectors of business so I’d say football is no different if not worse.

    Ta.

This is something else I'm very interested in. I can't see a great deal of value for him or the club in that appointment unless it was with a view to the longer term, and for all the leaps of logic, I can't see him being FPP's man to steer the club to the PL.

Which implies something has changed in the last 10-14 days.

I know his track record doesn’t read the best but if FPP have indeed taken advice from footballing people as has been suggested, would Rodwells contacts in the game at this level from his time on the EFL board and FA council to be something which might seem attractive to FPP as newcomers to this sport? Just a thought like

In the Chronicle that Juan **** want's SAFC to invest in a Uruguayan "feeder" club to bring young Uruguayan talent to SAFC. Never mind that they would not get permits anyway, but we are at the same time allowing our own home produced talent to be hoovered up by Arsenal, Liverpool and Man. Utd. Looks like a scam to cyphon funds out of SAFC to Juan ****'s bank account to me. These ****ers are not content with taking our eyes out, they are coming back for the ****ing sockets!
