It's not 'a trip'.

It's walking about 80 yards round the corner

With literally no other people involved.

Thanks for your input though.
trip noun (JOURNEY)
a journey in which you go somewhere, usually for a short time, and come back again:

<doh>

How did he know he wouldn’t see someone on the way there or/and on the way back?

Question to ask yourself/himself

Was it essential?

Also re-read last post of mine.

True !
There is only advice .
Lockdown is not enforceable due to insufficient police numbers .
Hence why we have had a light touch that was quite well observed for the first month .
Ha that's quite funny to me tbh, I thought we all knew the police didn't have enough numbers for London never mind the country during the riots:bandit:

They don't want to enforce it in some places mate, it thins out the herd through natural selection <whistle>
Wouldnt out it past them at all, they did exactly that during the riots, left some nice hot spots like Clapham Junction deserted for the TV cams to get good shots of police cars on fire <laugh>

Pretty sure the fuzz aren't bothered by our kid visiting me mam.

Don't tell brb though.
My old man popped round today and we took a walk down the river to bishops Park and back. [HASHTAG]#Fukdapolice[/HASHTAG]

I'll just leave this here *plural...

Then go visit her.

My brother lives round the corner from our mother, he's been sitting in the garden with her.

As does my Mrs with her parents, who live round the corner from us.

Not really that hard is it?

Ultimately, it's up to the individual and what they are comfortable with.

So.

My Mrs (one person) walks round the corner to her parents, (two people, admittedly. Two) and sits in their garden for a cup of tea. While meeting no one else whatsoever.

What have you proved?

How many has she killed in doing this, out of interest?
