I can't be arsed to read back, but I was sure you had said two family members, but either way, one is still not following the guidelines, so it makes you a hypocrite when you bemoan other people doing their own thing, while making excuses, even if reasonable ones for your own kind. Those people you bemoan as thick, may also have their own reasoning for being out. So jog along bruv

Simple point though from what you have said is that his “trip” was not essential. Therefore, he shouldn’t have done it. End of story. No justification allowed. One person does it why shouldn’t everybody else.

Which was my argument all along! It revealed all on the day B&Q opened back up and he supported the move. I argued people generally had to drive to a B&Q....so I could drive to my family and sit in the garden, if both driving for non essentials (to B&Q) and sitting in gardens is allowed. But no, it appears I can't do that, so the guidelines probably don't apply to special people.

 

It's not 'a trip'.

It's walking about 80 yards round the corner

With literally no other people involved.
