Morning all. Bright on and off, but also quite breezy. The storms forecast for last night didn't arrive, supporting my theory that the Météo is simply reusing old forecasts due to a lack of staff. Bit late this morning as after an afternoon in the garden Mme discovered that she had spent the night in bed with a tic. It doesn't look as though it had a go at her, but after a week in hospital a few years ago she is very wary of the little devils. One of our much younger friends had a similar experience, and she now has all sorts of health problems as she didn't get it treated as quickly as Mme. So gardeners and ramblers beware of them. Have a good insect free day. <ok>
Fingers crossed and good wishes to Mme...

Morning all. A lovely warm and sunny morning here. Must do the bread run then a solid day of gardening I hope. As of next Monday I will not have to print off another certificate to say why I am out and about. Just typical that I may only need to print one or two more when the cartridge ran out. I don't normally print very much and the cartridges tend to dry up before they have emptied, Still a new cartridge is cheaper than a fine Have a good day whatever you have planned. <ok>

Looking at the picture of Johnson taking a bit of light exercise in the park I wonder how many of us would put a suit and tie on and carry a mug of coffee around?

Boris could jog with a penguin on his head and still remain the darling of the British public. He is the most popular PM for decades.

There's a nice little tea company down your way - the Wee Tea Company in Dunfermline. They sell black teas, white teas, green teas, fruit infusions and herbal infusions. Neither my wife nor I are great tea drinkers, but I do like their Oolong Tea...
Thanks Bolton, I have found a couple of good tea shops in Edinburgh in Bruntsfield.
Just to add to my English Angst, Infusions cannot be regarded as tea and they are just horrible.

Morning all. Another lovely start to the day with it due to stay sunny and warm throughout. Had an email from one of my friends to say that he is due to go into hospital in Poitiers next week to have his Aortic Valve replaced with a prosthesis made of veal tissue. Amazing what they can do. He was told three years ago that one day it would be necessary to carry out the operation, but while he was still fit enough they put it on hold. A week in hospital, then as he lives alone three weeks in a convalescent home. I hope that when back with us he doesn't moo! Have a good day one and all. <ok>
