The idea of free to air only works if the Govt pick up the tab. I think behind closed doors games would have an initial appeal due as you say to the boredom factor, but that’d soon wear off imo, as they’re a truly ****e spectacle. Without relegation the amount of meaningful games would be small.

Without a vaccine or effective treatment, football is in for an extremely rocky ride. I’m not sure the reality has quite hit home for most in the game yet.
They could pump fake noise into the stadium??

They’re an embarrassment as are their so called fans. Disgusting football club.
Not sure if it's just me but i find a lot of their chants are just dirges, the two tone "Liveerrrpool, Liveerrrpool" and the Giggs rip off "Moh Salah, Moh Salah running down the wing". Both sound like somebody has died.

Spurs will also have additional losses due to no NFL games
Not really losses, just expected extra they never had.
I always thought it was a bit of a gamble to throw money at that, i just can't see the interest in NFL in the UK apart from tourists to make it viable.
Willing to accept i am wrong on this though.

spurs have a decent cash reserve. The NFL games were just a bonus to help pay for the stadium earlier.

The games are made up of largely uk fans .
I've been to a few and it's nearly all fans from here .

Still shocked that the men’s team will be risked but Liverpool will lead the push to have the women’s season abandoned.

Do you think novelty value or genuine interest?
I really don't know but have never had a conversation with anyone who watches it on TV and tend to talk to a lot of different people each day in my job.

went to one at Wembley as some blokes I work with love it. Was a good day out, a spectacle, but it wasn’t my thing. Can’t watch it on TV either.
