I wonder if he'd be so 'scared' it citeh were 25 points clear. I see he's back in Argentina as well. How the **** did he manage that during a lockdown? ****ing ****er.

I'm guessing he knows and is friends with footballers outside of Man City. They are human beings.

It's not all about Liverpool ya know. Would you want to play? Do you really think it's appropriate given what's happening right now?

I hope the players put a stop to it if the league and government can't bring themselves to make the right decision.

Most of the people i know in reality just aren't interested in football (hence why I come on here really). To be honest I'm yet to talk to a single person who, with no football allegiance, thinks it's a good idea for the league to resume. In the main they think the idea that the Premiership is planning a comeback is the most self-absorbed showing of arrogance in amongst a narrative of people trying to socially distance and work out how to get society through these times.

It's hard to disagree. It just isn't important for football to return at the moment. Reading actual news and the only mention at all of footballers and clubs should be of people putting on training videos, clubs donating money, keepy up challenges and the like. Now is a time when they could and should be showing themselves as parts of the community (as every faceless club claims to be). Frankly I find it a bit embarrassing as a fan of football that this is such headline news, people complain about modern football being detached from reality and this is a pretty strong example of it.

Hand Liverpool the title, they clearly deserve it, but please god let's not make a mockery of the national situation by rushing the game back as if it's some sort of saviour.

Just shows how people have different opinions I guess.

What I find the most self-absorbed showing of arrogance is despite this humanitarian crisis it's still perfectly acceptable to continue betting on people's lives via the stock market.

Society is being told to make sacrifices for months but it's essential for investors to be able to exploit these uncertain times for their own profit.

But it's football that's "detached from reality". Okay.

The couple have been taking advantage of Aguero's huge garden to enjoy some rare Manchester sunshine - being joined by beloved dog Ella.

Where does it say he’s in Argentina? Also, why the **** has everything got to revolve around Liverpool? Can he not just be fearful of returning to playing football? Isn’t that allowed?

BBC Breakfast news. I'm dubious he would have opened his flapping gaucho gob if roles were reversed. I'm postulating on football matters on a relevant thread about football on a football forum. If you'd like to discourse on other topics, I'm all ears, la.

Stock market is absolutely fair game for criticism but that doesn't exempt the premier league in any way. I'm fully aware of the work premiership clubs do thanks, I never said that weren't. Opinions :)

Well you're assuming that Aguero is talking bollocks because they aren't gonna win the league. Have you not considered that him and other players are genuinely nervous about being forced to play?

I'm sure he's bricking it. What if he refused and got the sack with only 2207 years of average earnings saved up?

Exempt the PL from what? Having discussions about when they can get back to work?

Fraid not but they do sell everything you need to brew it though you need to be careful after all surely it is no coincidence that Stan had just started on his newest batch and then he was gone
Stan <rose>

I only ever tried to make beer once many years ago with home brew kit, let's just say never again lol

from being accused of being detached from reality.

Take a step back and look at all the people who comment on this who don't have a vested interest. Ignore liverpool, Everton, Man United and man city fans and look at the supporters of the clubs for whom it makes no difference. It looks to me that the most objective fans agree that it's nonsense to prioritise going back at the moment. I'm not expecting you to agree and have a strong belief that were it Manchester United who were run away leaders you morals on this would be somehow different.

Nah we're all ABL's mate, despite me saying since last summer that I hoped they won it this year.

Agree.

One way or other, Liverpool should win the league. **** the charade of trying to play the games though, it's ridiculous and way too much risk.

They just need to find a solution to who/if there is relegation. Find a solution, don't put the whole of football at risk for the foreseeable future just to play some bloody games right now.

Europe is easy enough, base it on current positions and push Sheffield United up one place on the PPG average.

And I ****ing can't stand the ****s.
