So what you're saying is every other supporter wants to exploit the tragedy for their own wishes rather than simply leave the decision to experts <ok>

The mayor who actually said, give Liverpool the title they deserve it, but playing behind closed doors will create issues with fans gathering and H&S should come first.

But as usual the Kopites put their own self entitled ****ish club before anything. As they’re soooooo special.

**** you and **** your rotten to the core club.

Liverpool fans aren't experts bro. Most of the experts are saying we shouldn't play games.

Don't worry, you'll still get your title.

Just to clarify, everyone who disagrees with you is a selfish, heartless person who is looking to exploit the tragedy for their own wishes and everyone who supports Liverpool is a paragon of virtue who is trying to uphold the integrity of the league and possibly the very moral fibre of society itself?

Do you at least have insight into why people don't really bother debating with you properly mate?

Most of the people i know in reality just aren't interested in football (hence why I come on here really). To be honest I'm yet to talk to a single person who, with no football allegiance, thinks it's a good idea for the league to resume. In the main they think the idea that the Premiership is planning a comeback is the most self-absorbed showing of arrogance in amongst a narrative of people trying to socially distance and work out how to get society through these times.

It's hard to disagree. It just isn't important for football to return at the moment. Reading actual news and the only mention at all of footballers and clubs should be of people putting on training videos, clubs donating money, keepy up challenges and the like. Now is a time when they could and should be showing themselves as parts of the community (as every faceless club claims to be). Frankly I find it a bit embarrassing as a fan of football that this is such headline news, people complain about modern football being detached from reality and this is a pretty strong example of it.

Hand Liverpool the title, they clearly deserve it, but please god let's not make a mockery of the national situation by rushing the game back as if it's some sort of saviour.

    Agree.

One way or other, Liverpool should win the league. **** the charade of trying to play the games though, it's ridiculous and way too much risk.

They just need to find a solution to who/if there is relegation. Find a solution, don't put the whole of football at risk for the foreseeable future just to play some bloody games right now.

Europe is easy enough, base it on current positions and push Sheffield United up one place on the PPG average.

My take on this is that despite the Govt hoping to get some sport back on tele to try & keep us at home the season will not be played out . They will need to come up with a way of arranging European places etc as per EUFA guidelines because the Govt hasn't banned sporting events which pretty much rules out voiding the season . The obvious big problem is relegation / promotion which i assume as i type is turning into a veritable honeypot for numerous lawyers.

Oh and the hypocrisy of some "football lovers" is breathaking .

Saw the mass graves in Brazil on the TV this morning, having to dig 800 graves a day, when you bury your loved one, you get 5 mins by the grave then the next family pay their respects to their lost loved one.

Today the Premier League discuss how they can restart the season, I can't think of anything more grotesque at this sad time.

To be fair to the Premier league, it's not just them. This is being driven by media and television and, ultimately, money. They are being prodded almost daily, as are leagues from other countries, Germany included.

And we're all supposed to look at Germany as the example of how to do things right, right? Seeing as we* are doing everything wrong.

I just hope they make the sensible call.

life & business has to go on just as it has throughout history despite wars , famines etc . My guess any business which is allowed to are desperately looking at any/all options for possible restarting .

They need to get the pubs open, it's better than watching 22 fannies running around kicking a football. We can just give Liverpool the title *, job done.

Where does it say he’s in Argentina? Also, why the **** has everything got to revolve around Liverpool? Can he not just be fearful of returning to playing football? Isn’t that allowed?
