The SPFL wouldn't have been paying clubs any money that the clubs wouldn't have been entitled to when the season was eventually called. They had the facility to make such payments. It is written into their constitution. They said they didn't have that facility and the only way they could make payment was to call the league and pay out on current standings.
They lied.

This loan was not an advance on money due. They still ask for entitlements.
Administrators would not need to prioritise unsecured loans and Sevco in admin would still be entitled to prize money.

Every club gets a payment over an above any loan if they are entitled to such when the final standings are eventually set in stone.

When Rangers went into admin they were still entitled to receive payment of prize money despite massive debts. It went to the liquidators.
So you reckon if we get say 2M (for talking sake) advance of our prize payment then we go into admin we can go back to the SPFL and ask for the the whole prize money amount instead of the remainder?? Ps if we went into admin would we end up finishing lower than expected anyway?

But refused to pay out monies in case clubs went into administration.
