There's no point mate, he'll never understand that it's not all about them. He probably genuinely believes they'll have a straight vote on whether they're champions or not.

In reality and given their lead it's actually the least important of all the issues.

I'm sure there's several other league clubs as well that haven't been mentioned, hence why there's reports in papers that null and void has all but been ruled out in the professional game.
