Genuinely can’t say that I am missing it. Even the thought of them up the road being taken over doesn’t bother me.
It’s just nice to not have that added stress of waking up on a morning and seeing what the score is.

I'm not, but only because nobody else is playing either. If we were the only ones I'd feel a bit more jipped.

Also if we were in good form it'd feel more pressing because I'd feel like we could get promoted. We weren't really though so it feels like it might be a good reset.

I did for the first weekend but haven't really since. The season had already kind of petered out for Newcastle and if I'm being honest I hoped that Sunderland would get automatic promotion but reckon the play-offs were on the cards, and I'm not sure that I miss that process...

We could all do with going without football for longer. Might mean that the fans obsession might diminish, meaning the absurdity that is modern football might edge it's way nearer to normality when it returns

We have been known to say "f*ck it" and do what you have just suggested.

Never been fussed about watching football, never quite understood the game plans, tactics and strategies, as for the offside rules... quite liked playing as a kid ,in a jumpers for goalpost kind of way.

The apathy that set in with Moyes was one of the most soul destroying experiences you could imagine. I don't think we've truly recovered from that and sadly, even though it's nice to win games, even that doesn't seem as meaningful now.

Enjoyed calling Barton a **** when Fleetwood came though, I miss that.

Not one bit, sadly. I’ve missed playing golf more. I’m hoping it’s just while it’s all off but it’s not inconceivable that a lot of supporters will have realised there’s more to life than watching something you have no control over.

But I'm beat with this tbh, I have so many people in the UK who are on the front line or otherwise vulnerable.

I miss going to the match with the lads, and meeting up with people, but my mind is really everywhere but football ...
