So players who helped us win Premier League titles and the Champions League are overpriced and wouldn't get into the Everton team <doh>

    What an idiot.

Over 800 posts here in under a month suggests that this is probably your biggest fish.

Excuse me but have you seen your team?

    Carroll
    Adams
    Kuyt
    Henderson
Johnson and the rest of your defence

It would all struggle to make an Everton reserves starting 11.

Difference between the supposed dross we have and the obvious dross Liverpool have.

    Ours are ****ing winners!

    Adams?
Tony Adams left Arsenal about 6 years ago.
I think you mean Charlie ADAM.
Try getting his name right. As for some of the ****e that plays for your club, Darron Gibson wouldn't get in the Macclesfield first 11. As for Jonny Evans, the less said the better.

Isn't it embarassing that a side containing so many "awful" players continues to win titles while your pathetic side aren't even in Europe?

Isn't it pathetic that you can't get players names right. And you support a club who called earning the right to get thrashed by Barcelona ''an achievement''.
Arsenal put up more of a fight in their tie against Barcelona than Man United did. And that in itself is pathetic from the so called self proclaimed greatest club in the universe.

Whilst I believe that Liverpool will have their successes it will tough competing with the likes of United, Chelsea and City financially. You say that John Henry is in it for the long run but who says that sheikh mansour etc are not too and therefore returning to the top is anything but an inevitability.

What the **** are you talking about when you say I can't get the players names right?

So reaching the Champions League Final isn't an achievement? Liverpool couldn't even qualify for the Champions League for ****s sake.

I despair for humanity when there are people as stupid as you in this World.

The FFP will ensure that Liverpool are able to compete. Liverpool may have spent a considerable amout over the summer, but they recouped all of it back by one getting rid of their deadwood and bringing in money from doing so thus reducing their wage bill by near 25%.
Have Man City reduced their wage bill? No they haven't
Are they equiped for the FFP? They are more in the red than Chelsea.
Their sponsorship deal is currently under investigation by UEFA over their ''sponsorship deal''. Its realistic that it would be investigated, for the simple reason that a global commercial super-power like Real Madrid cannot negotiate a deal worth £400 million and suddenly Man City whom on a global scale are a small club in Stockport did. That deal will never go through.
Nobody has a clue what John Henrys plans for Liverpool are, but I do know he has the means to turn Liverpool into a powerhouse on and off the pitch. Liverpools commercial room for improvement is far greater than Man Uniteds.

You could tell him that Liverpool and United both play in red and he'd find a way to disagree.

    I'm not deluded.
Theres a reason for my comment and is valid. Do you know what NESN is? NESN stands for New England Sports Network and 80% of it is owned by Fenway Sports Group aka John W Henry. Man United may have played 2-3 games in the USA, but they have not got the means to gain media coverage in the USA because Malcolm Glazer doesn't own a television network.
This is one of the reasons why Liverpools commercial potential and room for improvement is greater than Man Uniteds, the other reason is minority shareholder of both Liverpool and FSG Lebron ''The King'' James, whom has massive global appeal in Asia. The two as part of the partnership are going to work in tandem.
In a nutshell the face of Liverpool is the most marketable basketball player in the world. The face of Man United is a fat pea brained whore shagging thug.

Man Utd have more fans and attract more media coverage in America (and most other parts of the World) than any other club, but do go on.........

EMF Liverpool have plenty of potential but until we get a new stadium we will always lag behind United on the money stakes. Don't Arsenal and United take in a million pounds a game more than Liverpool in Gate receipts?

Liverpools original colours were blue and white, Man Uniteds were green and vomit.
    Everton copied Liverpools original colours.

KiPpeR Man Utd get large American TV audience already. It will continue to grow.

Man Utd are the biggest asset to the PL, CL, and FA for TV revenues because we have more fans and more fans = larger potential TV audience.

I suppose you could say, theoretical, that Liverpool have the larger room for improvement, because they're further away from the 'maximum' than United are. United are massive globally and so can only really improve on everything a little bit, whereas Liverpool aren't quite as big, so have that extra bit to gain.

Not saying they will gain it, btw, just that in theory there is more room for improvement. Like a younger footballer who isn't quite as good as an older one. He might never be as good, but he nevertheless has more room for improvement in his current state than the older player.
