Had a FaceTime booked in at 5 so missed the briefing. I assume it was as insightful as always and Sharma carried himself with all the authority of a grapefruit.
Ellers, not having a go at you.Nigsy, I agree. Why can't we employ from within? I am only repeating what the farmer said.
I know mateEllers, not having a go at you.
So testing is key to progress. Today we have, allegedly, capacity to do 38,000 tests a day. Yet only 22,000 were actually done, because ‘we overestimated the demand from NHS staff’. FOR ****S SAKE. So now other emergency services and, for some reason, the judiciary can go and get tested if they want to.
Here’s an idea - do something scientific. Find a community of, say, 10,000 people and test everyone. Then we might see how many people are infected but not showing any symptoms.
I wish I’d bought shares in the phrase “ramped up” when I had the chance.

Oh crap... Staff have been told to reuse PPE in places that have shortages.
Isn’t this the bloke who was played by Tommy Robinson?
Lost another family friend of similar age last night, he lives a couple of doors away from my daughter, when you've seen people as normal recently and then they're gone it really does shake you. Also a lady I worked with for many years is in ICU, so sad for all concerned.
Anyway, today I handed back my car and so am now retired, just can't see any safe way to do such a job. I had to travel back from Hayes by bus and tube/overground line. One train I boarded at Boston Manor had one other passenger on the whole train. The bus was less user friendly with one pillock coughing away in the back, I've had a thorough clean up now I'm home but that journey was not pleasant...
Yeah, I think Robinson or whatever his name was buddied up with Quilliam after he left the EDL. He used it to further his islamist hate agenda rather than the real agenda of Quilliam, which I think is a lot more measured and anti extremist.I have no idea, what do you mean by 'played?'
All I know about Nawaz is that he used to be an extremist but has since deradicalised. He set-up an organization to help others do the same. ( Quilliam? ) He often talks about this subject on his radio show.
I knew you couldn't resist. This will be counted as two lots of PPE in the official figures. Possibly four.
Just heard that my niece, who is a nurse caring for Alzheimer’s patients in Madrid, has tested positive for antibodies, She had the disease and isolated at the beginning of March before going back to work. I’ve seen pictures, she had big PPE.
The Spanish have an antibody test! But we have a plan to get an antibody test, as well as plans to get PPE and a vaccine, so **** them.

Come on Stan, that's far too intelligent for our clueless shower of ministerial muppets...
No she’s fine mate, had it, all good, back at work. Positive for antibodies means you have some level of immunity. She’s only 23. I was trying to point out that the Spanish are doing stuff that we can’t simply by testing for antibodies.. Though they’ve had a mare with the disease to date. That's awful news mate. I wish her and your family over there all the very best.
