I can't stand Piers Morgan but I thought it was funny when he interviewed Matt Hancock about his suggestion that PL footballers should take a pay cut and asked whether Cabinet Ministers would also be taking a pay cut. Hancock, who always looks like he's just been asked to divide 47,723 by 679, looked very confused.

Footballers are a bit of an easy target.

Have hedge fund managers been asked to take a pay cut. My friend who is a hedgie is making a mutha ****in fortune out of the coronavirus inspired volatility in the markets. No idea whether he's donating any of the proceeds to charidee mate.

If the clubs hadn't started furloughing non-playing staff I doubt the PL players would've been highlighted. That's how it all started tbf. That and the fact a number of clubs on the continent had agreed with players to take significant paycuts.

Piers Morgan, leader of the Coronavirus panicdemic.

On players my only gripe was them not taking a pay cut to ensure the non playing staff had their jobs / incomes protected a lot of the other stuff was just public grandstanding .
The thing is, they are pretty much under orders to take their instructions from Norris Cole at the PFA. The theory being that the PL players are protecting the lower league players by standing together on all union matters.

He's definitely seen it as a way to get himself even more publicity. He doesn't actually have views IMHO, he will take whatever position gets him the most likes on Twitter.

He has spent the last six weeks instilling fear into all people when mental health will be at its worst, possibly ever... this is after spending the last 6 months telling the world how great his American mate is... <whistle>

There is a reality to this situation but it has to be communicated properly. I’ve had a few bad days the past few weeks, because my mind is idle and that’s when I’m at my worst, and I’m a very mild case so god knows how many people out there are struggling.

It's tough but try and treat it as an extended holiday with the family. Probably easier for me as I'm used to working from home (although I can't work at the minute so am basically gambling on the stock market to keep my brain ticking over) and mine are older so can entertain themselves for hours at a time, although that also means they can be more annoying, 14 year old lads can be dickheads. I have found my fuse has been gradually shortening. They've pretty much accepted that I need to be left alone in the evening to watch TV and have a drink.

I can't stand that Sam Smith twat. Hate his music and he's one annoying ****.

Random fact that I found out while setting the questions for a Zoom quiz. He has had more UK number 1 singles than David Bowie.

Unfortunately a lot of women are suckers for men, who sing like they are in pain and want to empathise.

James Blunt made a fortune out of it, there's probably been someone at it, throughout time since the days of Johnny Ray.

I can't stand all that personally.
