So, with the coronavirus virus changing our lives, what are the things that we took for granted in our normal life?

There are the obvious things, such as going to the match, or seeing friends and family.

But personally, I've found, the thing I'm missing the most is being able to interact with other human beings.

Spending time in isolation has shown me that strangers are actually quite a big part of your life.

Wether that's seeing other people in the same gym as you, or the same restaurant or cinema etc.

The world without people is a boring world.

It has shown me how people constantly have a positive impact on your life, and most of the time in an indirect fashion.

I've always been an impulsive traveller which is obviously verboten at the moment.

I miss the opportunity to just drive, fly, take a ferry ...

... on the plus side I have a phenomenal sound system and currently live in the middle of nowhere.

I'm going back finding all the great music I've lost and play it very loud.

I hadn't realised how much sport I watched or at least had on in the background. It used to be work, put the kids to bed, shower and put channel 401 on while my wife makes tea.

Now I watch 104 while the kids go to work and my wife puts the tea to bed.

On the other hand, it also means that you do not have to see people or do things that you do not like! Balance good and bad..it depends how the scales tip.

For example I like my local pub, but there some right bar flies inhabit the place.

I am stuck abroad (where I live and work) and miss going home and seeing my family + other half.

they were going to come out at the end of March, that’s been pushed back to June now, I was going to be going home in May, but that’s looking very unlikely

I've said that countless times to people on the depression thread on the SMB. Go for a walk and say hello to anyone you pass. Even the briefest exchange of pleasantries really does give you a lift.

Our lass has rule nee rumpy if the mutants or Sunderland lost

I've noticed a lot more of the simple hellos and good mornings as people pass (6 feet) past each other

They say that a stranger is just a friend that you haven't met yet. I'm going to try and remember that when this is over.
