On major honours the statistics show Liverpool 40 Man United 38. I'm not maths genius but 40 is more than 38 and you cannot bulk it up by using charity shields and the we played teams nobody has ever heard of cup.

They are the only manjor honours in world football for any league. Obviously swap EC and FA Cup with the relative cup in different parts of the world.
If you want to count any others then we will count all the others. Including stuff Liverpool won that doesnt ****ing count like the Supercup in the 80;s and that.
End of the day, the offical records say Man Utd are more successful. Official means there is no doubt.

Man United 38.
Liverpool and NOT Manchester United are most successful.

If your counting them why not count our World Club Cups? Or our Charity shields? To win either of those trophies we must do much much better than any team who wins the Uefa/cwc or League cup does.
