I just think that most of us are not as wound up about this mate. There will be inconsistencies, there will be over zealous police and the guidelines will get interpreted slightly differently at times. I really don't see this great threat to our liberties. Just a government trying to manage the worst situation we've been in since the second world war. Whether they're right to trash the economy etc is a separate argument and one that I find myself on differing sides of most days.
Think it's easier to tell the truth than bullshit. So yes I wouldn't mind doing it cheers. Just glad I'm not an nhs nurse or front liner relying on this government, arent you?
Uncle Update: Back in hospital early hours of this morning with continued breathing difficulties. Thought he was out a bit quick.
Sounds like too much pressure on beds. My sister in law (55) fell over and broke her hip on Thursday (I unhelpfully asked about the role vodka had to play, but she slipped in Tesco’s car park doing the big shop). Apparently she made it much worse by trying to get up. She had a hip replacement yesterday and was home earlier this afternoon, which sounds incredibly quick to me. My brother was told ‘she’s best off out of here as quickly as possible‘.
That has to be right. The aim is to prevent needless trips. If you go out to buy food there's no reason why you can't buy sweets, cakes, chocolate, ice cream, booze etc on on top of your bread cereal eggs meat, potatoes and of course BOG ROLL. But you shouldn't just go out to buy a Mars Bar or one prepared meal for that night only
Exactly the same has happened to my mates mum. She is still in hospital. Sadly she has an immune deficiency so they are hoping to get her out ASAP.
