Give me a nice independent country pub any day.... the thought of being out in a pub garden with amazing food right now...

Problem is, these are the ones that will struggle to just open back up.

Spoons will just buy some cheap beer and open right back up. Thankfully, there's not one near me.

I'm worried about the locals near to me though, be gutted if some don't open their doors again.

Twitter owner, Jack Dorsey, has committed one billion dollars (28% of his wealth) to the Covid-19 cause.

Amazon owner, Jeff Bezos, has donated 100m dollars in food aid to the homeless.

Facebook owner, Mark Zuckerberg, has donated 30m dollars to the Covid-19 cause.

Apple sent some medical supplies to Italy.

We should have a thread to remind us which companies done what during this pandemic.

good idea for a separate thread - the ****s to avoid in the future and the heroes to back

I have NOT Broken the Law and I stuck to Social Distancing .

I have just got back from my Sister In Law's funeral .

It has got to be the most surreal moment of my entire life ( And I'm 55 on Monday ) .

Richard Branson has shown himself to be the utter scum bag that he is. **** using Virgin in the future.

Mike Ashley trying to class his scruffy shops as essential and furloughed his staff immediately.

I made the decision about 2 years ago to boycott Virgin, for reasons of my own (they're just a **** company to do business with). But when I tried it was impossible - no one else has fibre optic cable in my area, and the woman from BT told me if I switched to them my broadband would be slow.

I worked for BT years ago putting in big copper cables. They've got a fortune buried under the pavement.

Of businesses or individuals who have shown their true hands and exposed their greed and left the working folk financially vunerable at this testing time.

I’ll go first

ENIC owners of Tottenham Hotspur

furloughed staff whilst the owner is sat on a net worth of 4.2 billion

Will never be forgotten...just another stick for me to beat our owners up with tbh because I’ve always known what type they are and the low blow didn’t really surprise me

Saffy bein a lazy fk so I had to do the thread instead.
