A thought came to me while enjoying the thread on best Tigers team ever - is there a list anywhere of all the tigers who gained international caps - at whatever level while playing for us?

Another somewhat related question - does it ever come up in football quizzes as to which football league team has been managed by coaches of all British home countries? Answer is Hull City of course.

i saw a list in a book once but its way out of date. the home countries have managers but yes. even if pt did only manage one game but then we did have revie on our books. other teams can claim multiple managers. why dont you start the list for us and we can add to it.

the book you are thinking of is 'Hull City A Complete Record' by Chris Elton...but it only goes upto 1989...it was a limited print, not sure how many but as it has the names of those who subscribed to it in the back i'd guess not too many....341 subscribers ....im number 339

Seems many tiger fans are not aware of this:

Terry Neil managed us and N. Ireland.
Tommy Docherty was appointed as Neills assistant then left after a few days as was appointed manager of Scotland.
I forget his first name - Smith managed us and Wales.
Then of course - Peter Taylor who had one game with England but managed U21 while with us.

Can't we start one here? I'll give it a go to begin with, bound to be far far from exhaustive:

Jamie Wood (Cayman Islands) - had to be 1st
    Alan Fettis (N Ireland)
    Theo Whitmore (Jamaica)
    Ian Goodison (Jamaica)
    Clint Marcelle (T&T)
    Michael Price (Wales U21)
Brian McGinty (Scotland U21) - not sure about this one
    Boaz Myhill (Wales)
    Sam Ricketts (Wales)
    Richard Garcia (Australia)
    Terry Neill (N Ireland)
    Jamie Devitt (Ireland U21)
    John Welsh (England U21)
    Tom Cairney (Scotland U21)
    Kamil Zayette (Guinea)
    Daniel Cousin (Gabon)
    Caleb Folan (Ireland)
    Kevin Kilbane (Ireland)
    Paul McShane (Ireland)
    Fraizer Campbell (England U21)
    Julian Jonsson (Faroe Islands)

I'm pretty sure someone else got England U21 caps when Taylor managed us and them - wasn't Scotty Wiseman was it?! Did Ghilas get capped by Algeria when with us? Viggo Jensen with Denmark?

There must be loads I'm missing....

Scott Wiseman - pretty sure that he got an U21 cap whilst at City.

Also: Peter Halmosi (Hungary) and Robert Koren (Slovenia), Steven Hunt (Ireland) are ones in recent memory. Alan Jarvis & Tony Norman (Wales) going back a bit further.

I believe that City are the only League Two club ever to have a game postponed due to having four players away on international duty.

Roy Carroll for N Ireland - although he may have just gone to Wigan by the time he won his first cap.

Henry Ngata may or may not have been called up by New Zealand when he was with us.
