Oh man, this is one of the best Apps out there. Managed to find an old station I used to listen to a few years back, Kool London.
Old School, DnB and Jungle is the order of the day and still sounds amazing. A good way to exercise when I can’t be arsed to go out for a run.

During the lockdown I finally bit the bullet and subscribed to Amazon Prime. In my many couch potato moments I have been working my way through:
Star Trek Picard - very enjoyable, but a little spoiled by the stupid, sentimental ending. Always lovely to see Jeri Ryan.
The Grand Tour - I saw the first two seasons when they came out, but nice to resume viewing. I know it’s all contrived and stupid, but I’m in the demographic that still chuckles at this ****.
Jack Ryan - just finished season 1, which was an enjoyable romp. Of course, one could fit these stories into “24” or “Deep State” or “Strikeback” as the lead doesn’t really matter, but they throw enough dosh at this genre to make them decent viewing.
Any other Amazon shows I should be made aware of?
I haven’t given in to Netflix yet.

American Gods is a must - Season 3 will be coming soon, so you should be able to get the whole story.
I'm into Season 4 of The Man in the High Castle, which I'm enjoying.
Vikings is one of the best shows around - that will keep you going, there's a lot of that to watch.
If you like your Superheroes dark, try The Boys.
Hunters is getting good reviews, although I've not watched that yet. Did enjoy Carnival Row as well
Just realised my Mrs has an Amazon prime account (£45ish a year)....does that mean she gets Amazon video for free as well ?
I’ve just registered the tv and it seems to be working but didn’t want to pay anymore for a load of extra tv that I might not even watch....
Is it worth it ??

But things take a dark turn when Carole Baskin, an animal activist and owner of a big cat sanctuary, threatens to put them out of business, stoking a rivalry that eventually leads to Joe's arrest for a murder-for-hire plot, and reveals a twisted tale where the only thing more dangerous than a big cat is its owner."

I really enjoyed that - very strange people. Louis Theroux does some great shows, and they've got 42 episodes available on iPlayer at the moment
I didn't realise that we had Netflix in my house. Anyway, the arrangement in my household is that I cook all week and Mrs Nines cooks the Sunday dinner. In between the time that I get out of the shower and take the dog for a walk I usually doss on the sofa and watch Super Sunday. As that's not happening I'm browsing the channels ( not a big watcher of TV other than sport ) and I come across Netflix. After a bit of mooching about, I come across this series called Lilyhammer. It grabs my attention because it stars Steve Van Zandt, Bruce Springsteen's guitarist. I've watched four episodes today and it's rather good. Never heard of it before despite it coming out in 2012.

The opening is fast-moving, Frank Tagliano, played by Van Zandt, is a New York mobster. He gives up his boss to the FBI and gets placed in witness protection and chooses Lillehammer in Norway because he liked the look of it in the 1994 Winter Olympics. Once there he realises that the Norwegian's are quite humourless and play life with a straight bat. Frank who changes his name to Giovani soon changes all that and turns Lillehammer into a mini Big Apple. It's both funny violent and you would think Van Zandt wouldn't make this work with his dinosaur attitudes to modern life, but it's a rare treat. If I had to come up with a comparison it would probably be the Coen brothers Fargo.

Sunderland Till I Die on Netflix. A bit like The 4 Year Plan. Compelling viewing even if you're not a Sunderland fan.
Watched the first two episodes of Lilyhammer lastnight after reading 999's recommendation, and I also enjoyed it, good mixture of comedy and violence. Little Steven in the lead role certainly has something about him as an actor. And the setting in Lilyhammer, for the fish out of water story is very interesting.
