Yeah, but we haven't tested them either. Not so intelligent.

The antibody tests, whenever they might be available, will be more important.

I think they're trying to do the best with what they've got.

My missus said the same thing regarding the antibody test. The normal ( or whatever the terminology is for it ) test is pointless for her as she works in the NHS.

And yet....they have a death rate of 13 per million and ours is 43 per million. I can’t work it out, if it’s not testing, tracing and isolation they must be treating patients better somehow and helping them survive.

Anyway all is now good as my local, The Fat Pug, a whole 70 yards up the road has just announced that they will deliver booze (‘by sanitzed hand’). £16 for 8 pints of Doombar. Lovely.

I thought that was down to the fact that they record deaths differently there? I thought it was you that mentioned it, or at least someone did.

Yeah, I’m loosing track of my own brain. And the beer hasn’t even been delivered yet.

Actually not sure that was me. The scientist in the thing Woody posted and I looked at seriously claimed that too many deaths were recorded as COVID 19 there.

I am terminally confused.

That’s because the Germans as a people accept and understand orders and discipline, so when told to stay in, they stayed in, unlike the non essential fuktards running around the U.K. doing as they please.

The advice here is stay at home
Walk the dog locally
One person from your family only to do the shopping
Exercise in your LOCAL area

The health minister has just been told off for driving miles from home because he wanted to go mountain bikeing on an easy track

Do as I say not as I do

Hancock was very unconvincing....and his job was to convince.

I Quote
"We have the best record inthe world at rolling out the new tests."

Better than South Korea, who were community testing within a week?

Better than Germany...who he said very early on have a great Pharma manufacturing industry, Roche and are making all the reagents.

Sorry Matt you contradicted yourself badly, you should have stayed in Isolation

As for the new hospital, it now appears we do not have the staff to run it, as at least 25% of the work force is off...and the volunteers that have come to the front are not in a position to take the responsibility
I actually think he knicked that line about Germany off me.

Weird Woody. He gave out some serial numbers to check out?
He made some pretty bold statements. I wanted to check out who he is, is he credible, but it’s gone now.

Why would his video be taken down? There are millions of videos with challenging and contrary views all over the internet.

Where did you hear about him/his video?

I think this is a key part of what’s going on, how deaths are being recorded.

When this thing started I was confident that it was too much fuss about not that much. Then the horror propaganda kicked in and I began to think that I'd got it wrong. I now I think I was right in the first place.

A "humbled and emotional" paramedic has thanked a stranger who paid for his shopping and customers who applauded him at a supermarket.

People queuing outside Lidl in Cromer, Norfolk, made way for David Tillyer - who had just finished a night shift - "with applause and thank-yous".

He said a woman who "ran up and swiped her card" as he went to pay told him: "Not much you can do to stop me".

His thank-you on Facebook has been shared 78,000 times.

"I am humbled and a bit emotional," wrote Mr Tillyer, who works for the East of England Ambulance Service (EEAS)

"Thank you to the lady that did that and thank you to all the shoppers that made me feel special after a tough run of shifts [HASHTAG]#NHSandProud[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#stayhome[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#covidkindness[/HASHTAG]."

Speaking to the BBC, he said he had just finished a 12-hour shift and was about to join the end of the queue waiting for Lidl to open when the young couple in front of him let him go ahead.

"About two-thirds of the way through the queue someone said 'let's give him a round of applause', and people started clapping and saying thank you.

"It was really heart-warming to know that people out there really respect what we do and are grateful to everyone on the frontline of the NHS for what we're doing at the moment."

He praised the "amazing, kind gesture" from the woman who ran to the till to pay for his shopping.

We haven’t got the evidence mate - if we could trust any of the numbers and if the science wasn’t being all sciencey...testing hypotheses, learning from unusual and unexpected results, changing the experiments, doing different statistical analyses which give contradictory results, thinking that the experiments themselves were designed poorly and need to be done again etc etc which is all actually good science but ****ing useless when it is used to make short term policy.....we might have a better chance.

Nothing really, just what I see and hear. It seems to me to be a collective madness.

I still can't get my head around ...
