Nice to see my old company BA are doing there best to use the current crisis to **** over their workers....let’s see if Willie is willing to give up much of his yearly wage ?
These flight totals are very often bollocks They count the number of listings on the Heathrow website but each individual flight is listed multiple times if it is a codeshare...and some flights have 6 separate airline codes Freight flights have risen by a factor of 10
It could be one person on one plane. It’s still mental that this situation is still willingly happening.
I agree with that but this is another case of Abbott accounting. There are enough incorrect numbers being bandied about without a very checkable set of numbers being erroneously treated as fact too
Staines, no chance with the poison dwarf doing that. And I think his *ucking off soon. When and where did you work in BA?
My mother thinking it was all over, my dad moaning “it is now..!” Anyway, back to the coronavirus. ****, innit?
Testing fiasco all over the media this morning, Empty testing station at Chessington because NHS staff required an appointment to be tested and were turned away if they didn’t have one. These are people who presumably want to go back to work. There is just no attention to ****ing detail anywhere in this mess, loads of grand statements about what will happen and no idea how to deliver it. There is stacks of intelligence and capacity in this country sitting idle, because everything has to happen via a visibly crumbling NHS - where testing kit is being removed from private and university labs to central points to then sit idle. Just send people to where the kit is, idiots! In the US my company set up a drive through testing station at our head offices for local health care staff only (ie not for our own employees) TWO WEEKS AGO, following a chat with local healthcare administrators. Makes sense we have loads of labs. Don’t see anything like this here, and I don’t think it’s because of lack of willingness more likely bureaucracy, failure of leadership and lack of imagination. If this is the crisis we are told it is and we are indeed in a ‘war’ (an analogy which I hate and dispute, but nevermind) then we have national capacity which has to be exploited, in full, regardless of which sector it sits in. Wait for the next farce - we have been told throughout this chaos that face masks for healthy people are a waste of time. But many countries require their population to wear them when out, and now the WHO, clearly one of the most ****ing useless institutions, at least currently, ever created by humans, is ‘investigating’ this again. Stand by to be told to wear a face mask when out, even though there are none. In this mornings Times guidance on how to make one out of kitchen roll and tissue. FFS. Hope you had a bearable shift Stainsey.
Warburton and coaches have taken a pay cut. Some employees are on furlonge on the government 80% incentive https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52128788 Before you criticise the players yet, it seems they have to discuss with the players union before thay can do it. From the twittersphere it does seem that several of the players want to take a cut. The discussions are today I believe
Add to that the pitiful display from one of the leaders from PublicHealth England on radio this morning, who said we have plenty of virus testing kit. We don't need the antibody testing kit yet. YES you @@@@ing do you muppet moron. The virus testing kit only tells you who has it now. We need to know who has actually had it....and has immunity to it. YES I WAS SHOUTING AT THE RADIO He also said it was Boris's fault for not telling them to ramp up the aquistion of the testing kits...and you all know what I think of Boris....but it was PH England who should have been hammering on Boris door shouting MORE KITS, MORE KITS. Boris is not suppose to know how many kits we have, where they are, and how many we need...that is PHEnglands responsibility, Boris just have to pay for them END OF RANT
Part of an email from kiwi juniors school this morning The Irish Poet, Kitty O’Meara, has an interesting take on Lock-downs… And the people stayed home And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently. And the people healed. And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal. And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed
The players have to show leadership That tw@t Gordon Taylor is simply trying to delay his members taking a pay cut All clubs keep going on about great community engagement but the players have to step up in a time of crisis Warburton has done his bit so why is the PFA dragging its heels?
