This letter is what is fuelling my fears regarding the construction self employed amongst us.

I know, I read and appreciated your reply, but you wouldn’t have known that because I forgot to like it, even though I did.

Balls that doesn’t look promising. How can construction workers work when the builders merchants are closed?

    Obviously
Obviously gambling does not pay.. Particularly as they put their last chips all on to one Wayne Rooney.

**** knows. Talk about mixed messages and covering your arse. If my fears actually come true then I will make damn sure I never pay another penny of tax in my life. There will be an uproar. If only they could bring themselves to clarify the situation.

Actually whether or not anyone reads it I quite enjoyed forcing myself to think properly rather than just mindlessly slag off for a change. Good discipline. And bits of his arguments are becoming more attractive to me as I learn more.

This is what we've been sent out - it's very vague IMO....

Its madness. The vast majority of my 'LinkedIn' contacts and colleagues are gearing up ready to go back to work asap. They know its virtually impossible to carry out the guidelines on site but they also know that they are being hung out to dry. Watch the roads getting busier in the next few days.

From what I hear and can witness on TV and other media sources, the people in power are doing more harm than good in this fight! Infact they are hindering the public from doing the right thing. Something very sneaky going on here.

The roads are exceptionally quiet at the moment - it's a blessing for someone like me, but I only work as a team of two, so we're not mixing with anyone else.

It's really sad driving around streets that are normally bustling with people to see them deserted and all the businesses shut up, wondering if half of them will ever open again.

Sorry to share this but a horrible thought has just occurred to me.

Pretty soon our friends the banks are going to be sitting in a mountain of bad debt as companies and individuals they have loaned to go bankrupt. They will then stop lending to anyone, and threaten to go bust unless the government bails them out, just like last time. They are meant to be better regulated and have assets to cover crises, but you wouldn’t bet on it would you?

Reminder - the maximum the government has promised to underwrite is £85k held in any one bank - current, savings, ISAs altogether etc. So if you have more than this in one bank, spread it out with other banks a bit.

The normal flow of political events takes place much more slowly, than it is now.

Many promises were broken by the govt since the election, but long enough after it, for most people not to notice.

With the speed of events now, promises they've made, are being broken within a few days and people are starting to notice.

Strewth! They only got elected in mid-December, had a bit of Crimble pud, then delivered the first part of Brexit before this **** happened. Let’s have your list of the “many” promises that they’ve broken, please.
