Feel I must have a little rant: The UK is in the middle of it’s worst crisis since WW2 and it has not escaped my attention that we have not heard from that pair of tossers, Bob Geldoff and Bono. When there is a crisis in other countries ie floods/famine etc this pair of ****tards jump up and down demanding our money to help them. So my question is “ Why are you spoilt; sad, selfish bastards not out campaigning all the luvvies/actors/music people demanding their help in our hour of need? Your silence is deafening.

Thought please.

Think it was an idiot who posted a video about how best to punch your wife/gf if she gets mouthy whilst in isolation. I assume it was meant as a joke but it was ****ing stupid and he deserves what he gets. Your mate Piers shared it on the Twitter.

Firstly I had no sound so didn't know what he was on about. However if thats the case then good stuff.
Secondly Piers is not my mate... In the past I always said he was a tw2t. He just said a few things that I agreed with on Brexit.

Massive generalisation Turkish. I agree that if I was going into Tesco 5 times a day this would be an issue, but not cycling in the middle of nowhere. I'm more likely to be killed by a lightening strike than to catch CV19 when I'm out on my bike
We have too many people **** scared of catching it from their own shadows at the moment. It is essential that we retain perspective in times like these. Certainly crack down on the idiots like Jack Grealish but not on those who have minimised their own risk
I've additionally minimised mine by sending my partner shopping and otherwise keeping her isolated in the shed :emoticon-0102-bigsm

It is not man made by anyone, bobmid.

When you modify a virus, and in my previous life I have (many biochemists have nowadays, it is very easy to do, you can buy kits) when you insert bits to make it more dangerous or to alter the host it binds to, you leave a "signature" of how you did it.
This virus was sequenced in January by WHO (World Health Organisation not by the Doctor) and they published the sequence on line so lots of people could make a vaccine and tests against this viral sequence. It has no "signatures" of a man made or man altered virus.

That is definately a myth

Small mercies, both those multi millionaires have made millions for themselves off the back of their God-awful charity dirges yet Bono and his U2 mates moved their companies offshore to dodge Irish taxes. If Bono really wants us to give he could lead the way and pay proper taxes. He couldn't spend what he's got in a dozen lifetimes...

Normally Beth I would agree with this 100% (especially regarding a 'signature') however science has a funny way of doing things and I would never rule out what people can do.
