Anyone taking a mortgage holiday?

was thinking I should and pass it on to tenants but then I thought maybe wait till they ask me to do it

I was going to take my mortgage on holiday but we couldn't agree between a hiking tour of Austria or a beach hut in the Maldives. Decided to stay home and watch Netflix instead

If you have good tenants, do it mate.

After this is all over, people will remember who acted well and who did not. You’ll win their goodwill, and from here on in, every time they hassle you about a leaking radiator, you’ll be able to remind them that you are in fact St Francis of Assisi, and they should be a bit more ****ing grateful.


Also, they might be happy to swallow any future rent increases a bit more willingly.

There's a 5 year high of rental properties in Dublin,Airbnb properties going back on the market,schadenfreude some may say.

Wait until you hear this lads, I wasn't feeling too good last night so I ordered a Chinese takeaway. The guy rang the bell and I opened the door and I was sweating like ****. The wee guy started shouting "isolate, isolate", which I replied, "no your not, I only ordered 25 minutes ago"
