Who benefits from stirring up **** like this? ****ing scaremongering for political points scoring.

I’d be more inclined to take it seriously if it wasn’t a propaganda account designed to criticise anything that Khan (who clearly deserves criticism) is involved in rather than disseminate any accurate information. Just like the Breitbart front Guido Fawkes stuff and the ex Marxist now libertarian dickheads on Spiked.

I agree with most of what you say G, but I honestly believe it’s a very strong possibility. The Streatham sewer rats are already running their hands with glee at the prospect of a free x-box

You must have a rose-tinted view of things where you are Stan, there have been a number of incidents in stores in South London where staff have been assaulted and many are now employing 'bouncers'. A 17 year old was stabbed to death about 300 yards from where I live last week. I've seen so many irate 'shoppers' in the past few days and it would take very little for it all to kick off especially if the supply chain begins to slow as it surely must the way things are going...

Did I say this kind of **** isn’t possible? My beef is with twats using it for propaganda.

If I understood the Chief Scientific Officer at the Health Committee yesterday correctly, they expect a ratio of 1 death per 1000 infections. So with yesterday’s total of 71 deaths there are around 71,000 infected people in the country (some of whom will have recovered, some of whom will have had no symptoms).

So, to keep the death toll at 20,000 (which he said was a tragic but ‘good’ result) we need to restrict the total number infected to 20 million. Clearly we have ages to go on this and we need to spread the infections out over a long period of time to prevent the NHS from being overwhelmed (it will be overwhelmed very quickly though, sadly).

These tests could be crucial in allowing people (self certified?) to get back to normal lives, and help those in isolation or social distancing (assuming the chances of catching it a second time or being contagious are low to zero). Hopefully good news. Sadly I can’t find any reference to it online.

Yeah, I couldn't find reference to it online, which is why I thought I may have misheard him. There was confirmation in the Standard though. The test will be like a pregnancy test, but using a drop of blood. They will be used for testing NHS staff initially, but will be made available to the public later. Seems like a big deal to me, surprising more is not being made of it.

Slowly, slowly. Daily changes implemented as we hope not to exceed 20,000 deaths, whilst currently at 100.

This is going to get a whole lot more dystopian. I fail to see how we are heading for anything but economic and subsequent social meltdown.

How long until cell networks are down, rubbish isn’t collected, petrol pumps are dry, water and electricity off? Too far?

My nephew who is in the RAF studying to be an engineer has been put on duty (with his automatic gun) at a Morrison's to stop bulk-buying, shoplifting, fighting and quelling possible rioting,
I kid you not!

This is what you’ve been waiting for Woody, isn’t it? Who engineered the virus?

It's not all doom and gloom, folks...

The Eurovision Song Contest has been cancelled and EastEnders will cease filming. Every cloud....
