Coronavirus

From what I saw, stores were getting understandably frustrated with panic buyers, because they are having to split the daytime shift, between two tasks, which have equally seen a massive increase in workload. Hence some ignorant customers probably moaning.

 

In a previous life I worked as a supermarket manager for 10 years. Customers are ****s basically. Still not sure why I used to get into bother for pointing that out to them when it is just stating the bleeding obvious!

 

Absolutely mate. I could never work on checkouts, i'd end up killing the customers and admire everyone that does that job. We have all got to change our way of life at the moment, and when customers do go into supermarkets, they need to be mindful, the people within those stores and distribution are working extremely hard, up and above their normal day to day duties.

 

My youngest sent home because he was coughing they told my daughter to go home as well, I've got to go home as does Mrs luv and self isolate for 14 days.

 

It was the best paid job I ever had. I was on stupid money at the turn of the century. One day I just thought **** it and walked out and into a job on less than half the wages. It was the best decision I ever made and my quality of life improved overnight.

 

So me & 300 crumblies prepping to swarm Sainsburys tomorrow 7-8 am to binge buy while we have the chance .
Mrs wanted to come but told her she couldn't .Only problem is i normally just stick a basket on my knee and wheel round but I need to do 1 full shop but i struggle with a trolley due to the (newish) weakness in my right arm (triceps no longer receives full nerve signal ) .
On the **** up wheelchair services made of my chair a new bod turned up today to bodge it up and to order the part ,that i told them they had forgotten to order , after talking to the manufacturers helpdesk .
I refused to let him in the house due to the virus & he had to stand in the rain whilst working on it .

Edit - and the bodge he did to the back rest is already failing . Opcare are absolutely ****ing useless tossers

My ex(youngest son’s mom) works at HSBC...back room, upstairs somewhere...I never paid too much attention really

Anyway...will ask her what the plebs are doing...and will no doubt call her a Tory **** somewhere along the lines...basically I’ll jus hammer her for this

Sainsbury's and ASDA have announced they are limiting food items per shopper

 

I have my own room so will keep out of the way of the plague ridden zombies.
I have an axe incase it gets serious.

 

I reckon once the kids are told to stay home, the gates of hell are going to open for many parents, with children bored out their tiny little skulls and no where they can go. Instead of knock ginger, the feral blighters will probably play kill a granny by spreading the virus...

Guess they couldn’t legislate for the ****ishness of a minority. I hear this happening a lot in the US and Oz. Less so where it’s more serious in Europe but guess it is probably the case everywhere to some extent.

 

I always thought supermarkets had this policy in place anyway of limiting purchases. It was to stop corner shops from mass buying promotions initally and then selling the items in their own stores. Maybe the policy was only aimed at Asians

 

it's okay, i will don a costume where ever i go. Worse case i will self isolate until this all blows over, change my name legally to bobby dazzler and entrust you boys to send me food packages to my registered address

 

Went to Tesco's on Monday night for my first shop for a fortnight. **** me, the shelves looked like Everton's trophy cabinet, but I was able to get four tines of Heinz soup on offer as a pack, and four tins of marrowfat peas - until I got to the checkout. 'Maximum of four cans each', said the checkout girl. And at the moment a delivery of Tesco's kitchen rolls cam in and was decimated within seconds (some fat **** carrying of four or five rolls in one go). 'Is there any limit on those?' I asked her. 'No, you can go back and get as many as you want whilst there here'. 'No need. I nicked a shedload from work last night'.

 

Marrowfat peas fooking disgusting!
