Shame its not just darwin's cull. Its everyone's. That is why there needs to be more responsibility.
Like waiting for the other shoe to drop.
I had a meal and a hug with a mainlander 14 days ago...who subsequently was ill with very convincing symptoms (cough, temperature, aching legs). I was mildly poorly for a couple of days whilst in ignorance of her plight...probably not Covid19 in my case as no one else is sick, but who knows.

I've been saying this for days - BJ is saying the right things, but where he fails is that he is trusting the public to do what they are asked.
A work colleague of mine has been saying all along "Oh its just the flu etc". He is 47, 5ft 2, 16 stone, diabetic and has heart issues. His wife has asthma. The school found this out and told him to pick up the kids and self isolate for 14 days to protect him and his wife.
He self isolates for 22 hours a day now, but does go the the supermarket for food and did have a pint on the way back with his wife.....
There is no helping some people.
Besides which is best for asthma relief check its suitability for use with CV infection. Take care stay safe.Thinking about buying a nebuliser for myself and one for the in-laws as we all have asthma, However could do with some advice from those of you who've purchased one as to which one to buy, their seems to be a massive range in price and i'm a bit lost to be honest. Any recommendations welcome.

I have the Philips InnoSpire which isn't all that expensive but you might have to hunt around to find one at the moment. The Philips units are high quality units, very reliable and affordable. The portable versions on eBay etc also work well but I would use them to get through a difficult period and then bin it. The InnoSpire is designed to be a long term use product and can easily be cleaned with Milton.

Chelsea have opened up the hotel at their stadium to NHS staff and Abramovich will personally cover all costs while the situation is dealt with.

Schools have a very weird feeling to them right now. In my opinion the expectation on teachers is too great at this stage.
There are around 500,000 teachers across the UK. They (for full disclosure, this is actually a 'we') see Boris and the health advisors each night on the TV telling the population to avoid all unnecessary travel, all unnecessary contact with others, and absolutely to avoid any mass gatherings.
And yet when asked about schools, Boris cannot move on quickly enough to a new topic.
We understand that they have their reasons for wanting the children to be in school, away from elderly family members, and allowing parents to continue jobs.
But it is coming across very much as the rest of the adult population should take every action possible to protect their health and the health of their family members. Teachers: if you can surround yourself by a large group of coughy, sneezy children with in many cases very poor personal hygiene, that'd be great. If you end up catching something and taking it home, that's fine, self-isolate and hand the burden onto the other teachers at your school.
I urge Boris and his government to remember that teachers are humans too, not just glorified childcare.
