I'm just getting the hours in while they are there..

Been dead on my feet, slept most of the day.

Allowing myself a few extra cans tonight, as i've been virtually sober for the last 10 days, 3 or 4 cans a night.

Start again tomorrow... Although i has a bollocking for exceeding working hours.

Good to know you're cutting back on the booze mate, self control <ok>

Someone is tugging someone's ear somewhere if you are getting a bollocking for hours. Maybe someone is looking at the overtime sheets.

No I didn't go wrong anywhere, as you said yourself, your mum had to keep working until 66 because she gave you everything you wanted. That means you can go down tanning booths and buy nice new shoes weekly, while moaning to everyone why life is so unfair.
I'm confused because she's still working but the rest of the family have stopped going to work/school so she doesn't catch it.

Well we have got by so far but are now having to "rent" 8,000 beds so it obviously isn't standard. Do you think we should have those beds (and staff) on standby always?
What part of the Tories austerity measures resulted in the loss of 17,000 NHS beds are you struggling with?

We have less hospital beds per capita than most of the developed world now.

But yeah empty and excess or something.

We haven’t got by at all. That’s just a ridiculous statement. Unless you mean by “got by” some people died, collateral damage, or some got lucky and were treated in corridors.
Fair answer <ok>
How many people do you know that work in the NHS or do you just read headlines?

Tonight is the only night i;ve exceeded 5 cans for 11 days.

We are all restrained by ****ing poxy working hour rules now..

****s.

Do you know anyone personally who never got a needed bed in a hospital?

It happens and can be said shouldn't but it is very rare which is why it makes headline news and you read it.

As I posted about an hour ago, 2 of our good friends are GPs. Neither do any private practice work. Both despair at what has become of the NHS, both were relaxed about this virus as they’ve seen previous viruses, both now think it’s all a bit ****ed. Do I pass the Diego knowledge test? I regularly have coffee and even dinner with both!

Hmmm...assuming you haven't been pulled up on it before, seems odd. You got a new boss in the office there? Unless HR have picked up on it.

Read it mate, what do they say about hospitals?

They haven't run out of alcohol! <laugh>

@Mick O'Toon to confirm.
The social distancing thing wasn't working, publicans and punters taking the piss,no more than 100 allowed indoors but it was like Christmas Eve in some places last night so they shut them which I agree with.As for supplies we are fine because measures were taking months ago in the event of a hard Brexit,we don't look so thick now,do we? <cheers>

Huge bed shortage for this particular issue. Triage always chaotic, in this scenario they’ll have to very quickly prioritise likelihood of survival.
Again, fair comment. Triage is always overloaded with idiots, where possible staff make them wait as long as they can.

The crazy thing is, there are no shortages of anything and the only reason for empty shelves in supermarkets is because of delivery times from the warehouses.
When they are re-stocked next week do you think the same idiots will go and buy them out again <laugh>

A mate of mine was in Lidl in Finchley today, the store managers were restricting everyone to two packets of loo roll each (quite right too). Some bloke with a trolley full started kicking off, only for someone else to shout out “you’ve only got one arse pal”. That shut him up apparently.

I've been pulled before mate,

I often try my luck, it's a ****ed up scenario for me....I think nothing off banging in 12/16 hrs...

It's where i started, and allowed me to buy those houses...I expect nothing for free, and willing to work for it.
