And that's fine, but at least make sense when you're doing it.
If he'd come out and said that football is supposed to be entertaining and the officials promote dull, **** styles, then I'd agree with him.
Simeone is a symptom, not the disease. Ben Foster gets booed by our fans, but we know why he does it.
course he knows why they do it <laugh>
obviously he was moaning because we lost as like all "winners" he hates losing .Though i'd imagine he genuinely thinks it is a poor way to "play" football but doubt he would have bought it up if we had won 2-0 in the 90 mins as we would have done with better finishing .

Everyone hates losing. It doesn't make you a winner to act like a twat when it happens.
People used to hate that sort of ****. Now it's expected.
You have to act petulantly and without grace or you're a loser.

"The people's game... without the people." Quite.
Still a better atmosphere than The Emirates, to be fair.

Bit late in stating this but couple things I noticed in the Atleti-Pool game.

1 - How much of a difference a top keeper makes from both sides. Liverpool still scored twice but I lost count how many crucial saves Oblak made, best keeper on the planet I’d say and has been for a while. Equally, Adrian messing up for Pool, coupled with conceding what I felt were some saveable goals (I’d say Alisson saves 2 out of the 3) shows that even with a generally dominant performance in terms of possession and shots on target that a dodgy keeper can still cost you a game.

2 - How bloody good was Tripps?! I know Simeone gets the very best out of players from a defensive aspect but I still couldn’t quite believe how defensively sound Tripps looked. Dealt with Robertson and Mane brilliantly. He had some strong defensive displays for us in 17/18 but last year fell to pieces and seemed to blame everyone else for his failings. Looked a completely different player last night for Atleti.

We've got 3 goalies and they've all screwed up recently. Now Liverpool. I think Pickford's been a bit dodgy lately while the PSG and Ex Real goalie at,what,38?Still giving sterling service. So what's up with ours? Probably shaky defences worrying them!!!!?

We need a new 'keeper. Given Levy's comments on finances, Ben Foster is more likely than not...

Last summer, I was at a loss to understand why Trippier left when Aurier didn't, especially to go to Atletico. Since, their respective form makes the decision even less understandable. Trippier was a very decent player carrying an injury, playing poorly and reacting badly to it. Get him fit and...Aurier's just a basket case and Pochettino knew it.

If Levy signs Foster, I’ll sneak an egg into the stadium and have my cousin launch it at him, he’s got a rocket of a right arm.

I’d have probably sold both at the time but definitely Aurier before Tripps. It’s weird how poor he was last season (if injury was true, Poch was stupid) but I fought his corner a lot over the years, still think he’s a good player but didn’t imagine him settling in so well at Atleti and putting in a performance like he did the other night.
