I can't stop laughing.Sorry! From the depths of despair to walking on air!!!!

"S'marvellous, s'wonderfull….."

I look forward to hearing the excuses from the pundits over the next few days. No doubt many of them will be valid when applied to Liverpool but not to other teams. There will also be qualifiers with "but they have been magnificent all season" mentioned whenever there is a hint of criticism. Well no, they have rarely been magnificent this season, they have accumulated a magnificent points tally, which is not the same thing.

I really enjoyed last night's game.

When Liverpool went 2-1 up on agg early on in extra time, that looked to be it. Atletico hadn't looked like scoring all night.
For them to get three goals in extra time was unbelievable.

I thought Liverpool looked better last season. They've sneaked past quite a few teams this time - including Spurs- scoring late and getting a helping hand from VAR on multiple occasions. It's a shame it's taken until March for them to get found out.

La Liga has been suspended, as Real Madrid's players have to be quarantined.
One of their basketball players tested positive for coronavirus.

Who's next from our Champions League opponents from the last few seasons?
Olympiakos this year, Rugani at Juve and now this.

Surely Klopp knew about Simeone's defensive tactics. That's his game.I guess Klopp was so certain of success his brain stopped working!

Oh dear it seems that Klopp is upset that Athletico didn't come to Anfield and just role over for them like so many before!
"I am completely happy with the performance. It's so difficult to play a side like this."
"I don't understand with the quality they have the football they play."

It's very difficult to play against a side that plays the way that Atletico do, but he doesn't understand why they do it? Really?

Pretty sure he made the exact same moan after a game against West Brom a few seasons ago

Why yes, the result was similar...

you lot thought playing RBL was frustrating and they had nowt on Athletico who tbf weren't so bad last night but the first leg was like a masterclass in the dark arts .
As another example certain GK's timewasting right from the start - you know why they do it but it doesn't stop you moaning about it .

And that's fine, but at least make sense when you're doing it.
If he'd come out and said that football is supposed to be entertaining and the officials promote dull, **** styles, then I'd agree with him.
Simeone is a symptom, not the disease. Ben Foster gets booed by our fans, but we know why he does it.
