Anyone checked Villa's run in of games? They look like dead ducks to me. Don't particularly wish them ill as such but very curious to see how their FFP works out.
Fan favourite Joey Barton’s Fleetwood currently pushing for second as it stands in L1. Winning at Pompey. As I typed that they equalised.
Spurs 2 down now 3-0 On aggregate.... Mourinho doing a marvellous job....made them a worse side than they were under ponch.....
Absolutely no urgency to spurs play....sitting with 5 at the back and 3 or 4 in midfield....no closing down just allowing Leipzig to pass and move ends then get the ball back when they lose it..... Very poor effort from spurs
They're playing like a team that doesn't believe they can win, 2nd best all over the pitch. I'll be surprised if they don't ship a few more in the 2nd half...
Wondering how that challenge by the spurs full back isn't a penalty.....it was like a clear out in the rugby....... Immaterial now as 3-0 On the night 4-0 On aggregate....scoreline flatters spurs...
RB Leipzig were formed in 2009, one year after Spurs last won a trophy. Hugo Loris has made twelve saves in the Champions League but conceded thirteen goals. Since Mourinho's first game in charge ( Nov 23rd ) only Aston Villa have conceded more goals than Spurs in the Prem.
Citeh v Arsenal off tonight but Olympiacos v Wolves goes ahead. UEFA clearly don't take this seriously...
Can’t really blame anyone for games going ahead when people are arriving here from hotspots and waltzing through customs. Pool v Altetico tonight. Little to no restriction on those travelling from Madrid.
Losing Son and Kane would challenge anyone. However, I agree that it seems the game has moved on without Jose. He's too stubborn to change and seems to "lose" dressing rooms very quickly.
But CEO's will still take him on and end up paying millions to get shot of him. Amazed a skinflint like Levy would have touched him with a bargepole but it'll be fun watching him try to get out of this one, I reckon the Summer Window will see the usual Jose histrionics if he lasts that long...
Don't disagree Col but 3-0 down on aggregate at half-time you'd have thought that he'd make some positive changes up front even if it meant bringing on the young lad Parrot to have a go after all he had nothing to lose.....but no he did nowt except bring on a young centre half for the last 5 minutes for experience..... I reckon he's working on his exit strategy already....
Obviously no stadium generates an atmosphere better than Loftus Road when QPR are winning, but Anfield on a big Champions League night potentially comes close. Edit: add to that the dislike felt by all toward Diego Costa.
