Many City v Arsenal game called off because the Arsenal players are self isolating after coming into contact with the Forest owner

It is reported that Ms Merkel, German Chancellor, estimates that 90% of Germans could contract CORVID19. That'll teach her to let a million dirty, unwashed and unhygienic foreigners into her country.

If China is anything to go by (big IF) then this thing will build from where it is now to peaking in around 3 or 4 weeks time before a gradual decline in cases.

The Italy and South Korea outbreaks are following similar trends to China. It will be interesting to see if they copy the same timeline.

Another thing to follow is Wuhan residents are going back to work. Will there be an upsurge again?

I'm going to post this as I feel this guy is telling it how it is albeit from a U.S perspective!

I'm not convinced European countries will follow the same timeline as China because even though it seems China was allegedly slow to react (virus-related stuff being deleted from social media etc.) I'll bet their lockdown has been enforced way more effectively than any we'll see in Europe.

    Anybody else need cheering up?

Case confirmed ten mile from me this evening. My 87 year old dad really worried. Horrible times. Seems now it’s a neighbor of ours approx 500 m away

Yeah, I know what you are saying. I just look at Italy and they are copying many of the Chinese restrictions. I don't think they wanted to.....

It feels like a lot of European countries kind of want this to get in and amongst the population so they can start dealing with it before shutting the schools and stuff to try and spread it out more evenly so the health services can cope a bit more than having a sharp peak.

I'm not sure that allowing Cheltenham (250k punters) and Crufts (125k) to go ahead is a great idea.

I'm only speculating. It just seems a bit weird.

Hope WJs OK, he's on a cruise ship somewhere, wouldn't go on one of them if you gave me the tickets atm. My Mother's in her 80s and relies on me for everything, if I get it and give it her, will probably kill her if not me.
I've just recently paid £1,000 to go see Bonjovi in USA in July, probably won't happen now, lost accommodation money as non refundable and maybe flights, but money can be replaced people can't.

Important thing is we’re all healthy in 12 months. None of us will starve and whatever money we’ll have lost at this time will be but a distant memory. Cheltenham going ahead was a ****in disgrace
