Resigned to it, perhaps - if it's a repeated occurrence. There's a difference between expecting a certain amount of losses in a season, and predicting a catastrophe before every game. It seems to me to be an indirect insult to a group of players who've hardly lost a game all season, to anticipate their defeat in every upcoming match. We need to show some faith in them - they won't win every game, but they've done a bloody good job so far, and we should credit them with that.
i think you're taking Bumps neuroses too seriously mate . Think of it like a pair of lucky socks he puts on before matches or as a nervous tic.
Dude I have said I think we will win... just think they away goals will do for us I have posted loads of times that this is not serious I just do it to wind people up Just like whoever keeps saying we are going to win 7-1 or we are going to smash em can’t really be serious also if you look at the past two matches prior to this one I have said we will smash them or words to that effect so you picked the wrong time to pick on me lol
His pessimism is like his good luck charm, if you read the lads posts hes got a lot of love for the team and a good overall love of football. But if you ask for a prediction he always says we will lose, it's just like wearing your special undies. Infact bumps is one of the most fair minded and god forbid funny posters on here. I like the lad. Leave him alone.
See first paragraph three messages above ps love you to Fool I do love football too having a ball with the kids team atm If any of you get the chance(I know some already have) go get involved in a kids team at grass roots - apart from my kids best thing I have ever done No idea how it’s going to go over next few years but the last season and half have been an Amazing experience. would not change it for the world - watching them develop and love the game is just the best feeling in the world Even missing first half on wed so we can sneak an extra game in
