It's not a hugely creative midfield, but it's the thing that allows both of our FBs to be so high up all the time.
Having said that, I think it might be a risk to bring Hendo back in so soon.

    Anyways, #easywin

No thanks to this midfield. It’s proven so many times to struggle in the CL.

It maybe too soon for Hendo so will wait and see if Klopp risks it.

Keita is the one who is needed for this game because we need someone who creates from deep and central areas, which will be crucial against Madrid who will be happy to sit back.

Regardless of who plays, we need to play the perfect game.

I can't see us getting through, just have to hope I'm wrong and that we see a brilliant performance from the team that's shows how good we can be once again.

I think it'll be more about the intensity and desire to win than the technical aspects of the game.

I dont like that midfield either, but fabinho has been **** and we need as much fight as possible. We need people like Milner's attitude for the goal line clearance to stand any chance.

Having said that I think we will win, but concede too

Cannot beleive some of you still doubt a team that overturned a 3 nil deficit against a team with Messi with Salah and Firmino missing.

This Madrid side beat Juventus 2 nil last season and were beaten 3 nil in Turin. They got here by sheer will of the team and the atmosphere to get them through with a 1 nil win. They can be got at and as long as we keep the atmosphere hot they will break.

I am still hoping that we go up a gear and win this, form should go out the window and we've done it many times before. I'll be supporting with my heart not my head once the game starts.

Beginning to get optimistic about this one now but that has more to do with it being the CL at Anfield rather than our play atm .

What goes in our favour is that Athletico will underestimate the atmosphere and intensity of the fixture.

More like Anfield is shorter in length and that is why our pressing game is more effective. On bigger pitches we struggle to press more effectively

We are winning this, I've done a complete 180 and am full on confident.

European nights at Anfield are special, but when we are up against it, its white hot. I just cant see them keeping us out.

I've maintained throughout the thread that we'll win this. The atmosphere both on the pitch and the terraces will be radically different to the subdued efforts we've seen lately.

No disrespect meant, but I can't understand why anyone would follow a team that they expect to lose all the time - especially one that doesn't lose very often.
It seems masochistic, and frankly not very supportive - and I can't get my head around it.

would have thought that fans of a large number of football clubs fully expect their teams to lose far more often than win .
