I wouldn't normally waste my time on other teams' forums - but somebody brought it to my attention - that Sunderland were suggesting that Gillingham were time wasting --- I couldn't believe it ! Well , how much time do you want ? - you've had over 6 hours of football this season against the Gills - and failed to win ---- just like we failed to win against AFC Wimbledon - that's football ! In case you hadn't noticed - Sunderland are in League 1 (( just like Gillingham )) - because neither are good enough for anything higher .

The time wasting was something that ALL teams do in the same circumstances - good luck for the rest of the season - but don't be surprised if you are in L1 next year

 

You know that isn't true - ALL games of equal importance if you have any aspiration of promotion - win, draw or lose - do it with good grace - not arrogance.

 

I'm only interested in promotion, not who we beat ...

Absolutely agree. Don't care who we beat en route as long as the end result is promotion.

 

I know we're the Cup Final for these clubs but it's embarrassing when they follow us around because they managed a lucky draw.
