Jose on Ndombele "In the first half we didn't have a midfield," said Mourinho. "Of course I'm not speaking of Skipp because he's a kid of 19 who's played two hours in the last few days. I don't criticise him at all. "But I'm not going to run away and I have to say he [Ndombele] has had enough time to come to a different level. "I know the Premier League is difficult, and some players take a long time to adapt to a different league. "But a player with his potential has to give us more than he is giving us, especially when you see how Lucas, Lo Celso and those players are playing. I was expecting more in the first half from him." The double change worked for Tottenham as they put in a much-improved second-half display and Dele Alli's penalty earned the visitors a point. Mourinho suggested Ndombele - who joined Spurs from Lyon last summer and has made 24 appearances this season - may find it difficult to get back into the side. "Many fantastic players in their first season, in a new country, for different reasons they struggle," the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss added. "There have been many examples of that. "He's a player with great talent. He has to know he has to do much better and know I cannot keep giving him opportunities to play because the team is much more important." Great man management Jose
He’s done right...you dont support that kind of ****e attitude on a pitch...when you do/if you do, you’ll get it. Klopp’s blowjobs are working...I get that..but Ndombele is getting what he deserves. I make him right jus like i made him right with the Pogba thing...Pogba is and has been dogshit not to mention still is. Would you want a lazy **** playing next to you? Not even at Sunday league level. Like Jose said...he has to think about the team so binned the fat **** at HT I got no probs with this remaining a man’s game...sick of millenial ****’s needing cuddles everyday just to pull out their passion and drive.
The fans fall for Mourinho's plot every time. First he attacks the disappointing expensive player (Ndombele/Pogba) and the fans say that's fine. Then he gets more time. But nothing improves, because he's already poisoned the club, and soon he starts throwing whoever else under the bus. Then he gets a huge payoff.
Plot? this isnt Home and Away or Neighbours ffs He doesn’t need to beg for more time he’s been here 4 months What’s wrong with you fam?
Agree. Just common for people to lay into goalkeepers who concede at the near post regardless of how good the shot was. Pickford made a great save earlier. Pope should be England’s number one though.
can't balme him for that, but he makes far too many errors to be an England keeper, but still will be.
I’d agree that Pope is a better shot stopper but Southgate wants his goalkeepers to play a bit too. We don’t have any other goalkeeper that comes close to Pickford’s distribution.
