Not gone to the shops for ages myself but i) people are sheep and ii) if we all get stuck indoors we’ll need to wipe our arses.

Can’t say it’s the first thing I’d think to panic buy but there you go. Tinned food and pasta sales are through the roof.

Yeah I'd heard about pasta. Was loads of it in my local supermarket. in fact I don't think my supermarket was short of anything, although I didn't look around the medicine section.

 

Why panic buy because of a flu?

If you run out of toilet fuel, rinse your hole with a shower head.

 

It must be all these millennials, they need to switch off their phones and stop becoming paranoid.

 

Bet JustEat etc. are doing well out of this too even if spanners are avoiding Chinese food.

 

Sweet and Sour chicken balls and a corona sounds seriously tempting.

 

Corona is apparently doing well here too. The people who are reminded it exists outweigh the morons who suddenly avoid it.

 

I understand stocking up on medicines ,though not to the extent some have clearly done ,but the other stuff

 

I'm sure they are worried their craft gin club order box might be hoyed through the window..

 

I thought there was a limit to amount of medicines you are allowed to buy in a supermarket anyway, as well has an age check. For some reason I thought that was to stop people O/D, when supermarkets got the licence to sell pharmaceuticals?

I think if people stocked up as normal, there wouldn’t be a problem.

 

Wouldn't take many buying the max to clear the shelves and there is the scenario when you buy the max ,wife buys the max then go to in house pharmacy (if they have one ) do the same .

 

yep most shortages are caused by people over buying .

 

Next Tuesday bro but nearly had to be admitted a few times as an emergency, thank god for the Glyceryl Trinitrate spray..
