Happens to all clubs when they get a new bigger capacity stadium.
Ask Arsenal and Man City.

Yeah no doubt, though our stadium was built for atmosphere but the pricing is causing working class fans to be unable to attend so all you're getting is scattered chanting from certain sections.

Place is lovely to look at, really is the best ground I've been too and I'm not being biased there but the money we're all paying is killing the atmosphere the club tried promoting/ designed the stadium for. My ST's one of the cheapest at Spurs and I'll be paying £1010 for the 'privilege' next season.

A mix to be honest mate.

Portions who hate Levy.
Portions who hate the players.
Portions who hate that Poch was sacked.
Portions who hate Mourinho.
Portions who hate all of the above combined.

Most poisonous I've seen it to be honest, atmosphere is dreadful too but that's mainly down to pricing (which partly leads to hate for Levy) and tourists/ prawn sandwich brigade getting into the singing sections.

Easy solution bruv... lifetime bans for anyone called Portions .... sorted <cheers>

Same thing happened at the Emirates bro. When I used to go to Highbury, both the North Bank and Clock End were always singing, and for the big games, you'd get the East and West stands joining in. When we moved, they split all the fans up, jacked up the prices and made the corporate fans their priority. So nowadays, die hard fans might be sitting next to a family with young children or some Japanese tourists. You get pockets of singing, but those who all used to stand together, are now scattered randomly throughout the stadium.

The sooner they bring back safe standing the better <ok>

Reactions: Dier Hard
I just love all the assumptions mate. There is no way, Dier could have known what any dispute was about, he simply jumped in, because he knew his brother was there. I don't think that's going to bode too well with the FA.

Basically, the stewards should have sorted that out. Both with regards to the initial scrap with Dier's brother and then preventing Dier from jumping into the crowd and inflaming the situation. I know it all happened a bit quickly, but you simply cannot have footballer jumping into the crowd to go attacking fans, no matter what the reason is.

Something that I'm not understanding in all this. I have heard the comments from people, including from Jose, that Dier was reacting to insults to his brother/family...

The bit I'm not understanding is how did he know about these insults to his family from the pitch, he would have had no mobile phone, while actively and physically working, so how did word get to him, what was occuring on the terraces of 58,000 people?

How the **** would I know...I barely understand what goes on in my head let alone in any one elses <laugh>
