Dier's career so far..... Poking oppo players in the eye, giving it large at the Emirates before getting spanked by Arsenal, punching his own fans.

Captain material <laugh>

Still better than Xhaka tbf.

Still not seen any responses to my earlier question;

How did Eric Dier come to know of the abuse, if he was protecting his brother?

Eric was supposed to be actively involved in the game, he would have had no access to a mobile phone. It was an attendance of 58,000, if you look how far Dier had to climb back in the stand, are they seriously suggesting that the player heard the insults all the way down on the pitch.

Also why did the stewards not intervene on his climb over the seats, if that had been a fan, they would have been jumped all over like a rash, either that or the security at Tottenham is slack - which don't bode well in the event of a security incident.

Jose I thought suggested he was defending his family/brother but from what, Jose insults the fans in that section, but it's the players families, so is Jose saying the families of the players are a bunch of shhites!

I think Dier's brother got into a fight with a fan who was giving Dier ****.
Dont think Dier heard anything, just saw his brother having a barney with some one in the stand and jumped up there to help.

Let's assume then that what you say is true. Then Dier still jumped into a stand unaware of what any fight would have been about, whether it be racism or any other type of abuse aimed at his family. In short he got stuck in for the heck of it as it involved a member of his family. A fight for all we know his brother may have started.

Standard, welcome to Tottenham mate lol.

I just love all the assumptions mate. There is no way, Dier could have known what any dispute was about, he simply jumped in, because he knew his brother was there. I don't think that's going to bode too well with the FA.
Like i said his punishment should be more than if a fan was caught doing the same.

Just cant have players attacking fans, under any circumstances imho

I've been to the old WHL, can't say Spurs fans were any bother whatsoever.

There's been about 3 Spurs on Spurs fan fights this season alone lol. Dier just upped it a level.

Anarchy around here these days.

Yeah, basically he saw his brother having a tussle and went to help.
He had to have been oblivious to what it was about, surely, like you say.

Can't say i've ever known Spurs fans to be troublesome, what's caused the change in behaviour?

A mix to be honest mate.

Portions who hate Levy.
Portions who hate the players.
Portions who hate that Poch was sacked.
Portions who hate Mourinho.
Portions who hate all of the above combined.

Most poisonous I've seen it to be honest, atmosphere is dreadful too but that's mainly down to pricing (which partly leads to hate for Levy) and tourists/ prawn sandwich brigade getting into the singing sections.
