The volatility in the stock market has more to do with the underlying weaknesses in world’s economy though imo.

It probably is a bit over-hyped but that’s an easy stance to take if you’re relatively low risk. Can understand why old folk, people with babies etc would be alarmed and want people who aren’t arsed to do what they reasonably can to avoid carrying it.
