I think it is being over-reported tbh. Today there was 18 mins dedicated to it on the main news at 10. It's fcking ridiculous.

Personally I'm not going to give it much thought unless mortality reaches into the 1000's here.

Still not worried by this personally. It’s just going to hit the elderly a tad more.

 

I wasn’t remotely worried, but comm’s rant has got me thinking. If he’s convinced there’s nothing to worry about, it’s probably time to invest in some face masks.

 

One thing I can't stand is that the stock market has reacted.

When the **** did this trend start of reporting stock market reaction? It's a load of ****ing bollocks and it gets so much news time. The thing we should be worried about when people are dying is that people have panic sold stocks in random companies?

It's ****ing tedious.

The volatility in the stock market has more to do with the underlying weaknesses in world’s economy though imo.

It probably is a bit over-hyped but that’s an easy stance to take if you’re relatively low risk. Can understand why old folk, people with babies etc would be alarmed and want people who aren’t arsed to do what they reasonably can to avoid carrying it.
