I wish it were. Then it wouldn't be DF's. But your post typified how the focus is always on attacking play, as though defence takes care of itself. It was the same with Wes H. People just couldn't grasp why he was ever left out of the starting eleven, for us or for the RoI.

But he was, Vrancic looked utterly unaware he was there and certainly didnt try to go with him. Lewis was static and marking space. He had no chance against a bigger man running on to him.
Vrancic has been utter gash but he has barely played. All the guys who haven't played gave played like it. Drmic, Vrancic Trybull they all look rusty and off the pace. And yet we still look the better side.
Not like a side who can score a goal from open play....or st all really.
