He wasn't unmarked. He was being marked by, er, Vrancic and Lewis. When Bure Budgie said "Vrancic must play", did he even consider the implications for our defence? No, he didn't. When people drool over Buendia's number of key passes, do they mention how often he gives the ball away or concedes free kicks in dangerous positions? No, they don't.
