If we'd had his goals in the second half of that season we'd have stayed up. Mind, if we'd had a goalkeeper who didn;t play like he had t-rex arms we'd probably have stayed up!!
He's a decent lad Woodgate - I've met him a couple of times. Nice fella...
Doesn;t make him a good manager - although I think the rot was already setting in when he took over

You missed Ruiter! We had 3 keepers who'd be lucky to play a match in my sons' u15's team!! I can;t ever remember sucha bad season for any team regarding keepers

No he hasn't - he was convicted of an attack on an asian person - according to the judge & jury (whether correct or not - but legally) it was NOT racially motivated. It was also nearly 20 years ago and I'm pretty sure he's learned his lesson. I read your comments of his "private life" actually meaning his private life - not what he got up to one night when he was pissed as a young lad
