    Its not about that, (as i know you know) id like to eat summin ive grown, never done it before apart from a little herb box i had on the balcony of my old gaff, which i grew garlic, thyme, basil, and rosemary

    It’s a big walk in metal framed cage, covered in wire mesh. You plant all your fruit in it, and it stops birds eating it.

    Mines full of strawberry, raspberry and black currant. Started it with a handful of plants and it’s now completely full as they’ve spread. It’s boss. <ok>

    So inspected the estate with the gardener this weekend and found I have two papaya trees, two honey pineapple plants, spinach, lemongrass, lemon basil, plus ginger all growing in a space that was previously occupied by my front lawn.
    Oldest papaya tree is about a year and half old and is already about 4m tall and producing edible fruit. Apparently they produce fruit continuously so waiting for next crop to come through. Picked some spinach for my juice and they are cooking me a fish dish with lemon basil for tonight.
